Solar electric systems are a proven technology and are extremely reliable. Photovoltaic (PV) cells were originally developed for use in space, where repair is extremely expensive, if not impossible. Maintenance Services
For larger systems or systems with difficult access, Harelson Mechanical offers optional maintenance contracts. Harelson Mechanical will schedule annual or semi–annual maintenance visits. During these visits Harelson Mechanical will provide the following services:
- Clean the module array
- Check all electrical connections
- Log lifetime and instantaneous power and energy output
- Check for any plant growth causing shading
- Write a report on system status and any corrective actions if necessary.
